Pollination about bees

        Pollination

Bees are important to humans because they are insects that we rely on to provide some of our foods like nuts, tomato, eggplant and more. Pollination is when pollen transfers to the male part called the stamen and then pollen moves to the woman part called the pistil where it fertilise.  They grow into seeds.

Bees are fabulous pollinators because they have been gathering pollen most of their life and so far bees are the best pollinators out of birds, wind and water. Bees are hairy and pollens get stuck in their fur or wings and so when they pass by flowers or land on other flowers, they leave the pollens behind.

Some of bees species live in soil and make a nest in it, while some species live in plants, they drill a hole in plants stems or wood.
Did you know that if we didn't have bees, there will be no flowers and fruits we love to eat and also there will be no honey for our toasted bread?     By: Caitlyn

3 words to describe myself is tall, eyes that are brown and long black a brown hair.
Who lives with just my mum and I am a person who loves to play with my friends.
What I want is a puppy, kitten and a trip to Paris.
I feel safe when people I know are around me
I love Ice cream my family and my friends.
Who hate people who talk behind my back and when people say nasty words to me
I am a person who hopes that Jesus will come to this earth
Who is afraid of spiders and snakes
Who enjoys swimming, having fun and singing
I like to wear dresses shorts and t shirts
Who wonders why we don’t have wings
and
im sure my name is caitlyn

Digital learning

WALT: evaluate our digital learning

Screenshot 2015-02-11 at 12.36.46 PM.png

In a digital classroom I learnt how to research information and published it in my own words in my Chromebook and I learnt to use different applications.

Mrs Cochrane helped with my learning by showing me different applications and helping me with my Google docs.
Miss Paton helped me by teaching me how to use my Chromebook.

My Chromebook helped me to be creative presenting my work using different apps.

I am pleased of my work and I am getting better in typing.

What I want to learn next time is all about animals.

What I enjoy most is to do science and maths.
What so important about digital learning is that you can learn any time any place as long as you have WiFi.

My psalm

My Psalm

Praise you O God …

You have given us life and justice

You have forgiven our sins
and
healed us when we were sick

You have cheered me up when I am sad
and
you are there when I am alone

Thank You Lord for my family
and
the community.
